I OWN A L3240 KUBOTA WITH THE D1703-M-ET10 . WAS BUSHHOGGING LAST FALL WHEN THE ENGINE JUST STARTED LOOSING RPM'S. LIKE IT WAS RUNNING OUT OF FUEL. CHECKED ALL TYPES OF THINGS RELATED TO FUEL. FINALLY PULLED FUEL TANK AND CLEANED , DID NOT FIND ANYTHING IN THE TANK. REPLACED LIFT PUMP , FUEL FILTER AND HOUSING AND ALL THE FUEL LINES, STILL NO CHANGE. REPLACED INJECTION PUMP 5 YEARS AGO WHEN FIRST GOT TRACTOR AND IT RAN FINE FOR 5 YEARS. HAD INJECTORS REBUILT. SEEM TO BE RUNNING GOOD , BUT HOOKED UP BUSH HOG, SEEMED TO NOT HAVE POWER FOR LOAD AND AFTER RUNNING FOR MAYBE 10 TO 15 MINUTES STARTED DOING THE SAME THING RPM'S DROPPING TILL IT WOULDN'T EVEN COME OFF IDLE. I HAVE BEEN A HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC MY WHOLE LIFE, A HYDRAULIC SERVICE TECH, BUT THIS ONE HAS MY MAGIC FINGERS BURNING. HOPING SOMEONE ON HERE MAY HAVE A GOOD INPUT AS TO WHAT I AM MISSING.
Hey new member here. Have a BX23S (just a few years old, well-maintained) with BX2830 snowblower. having an issue with engine wanting to Peter out/lose power. Both fuel filters were changed recently so that shouldn't be the issue. Also already have kubota anti-diesel additive running through fuel system, so should be good there. does anyone have any ideas? thanks for any timely input as it would sure be helpful to have this thing working in time for the storm!

I have the same machine with same issue. Only 220hrs. After extensive troubleshooting (2x filter replacement, lift pump replacement, fuel line replacement) I've isolated to something in the tank blocking.

Will yours die after sputtering? Will issue go away after letting sit?

I was wanting to put a hydraulic thumb on my L35. I was reviewing raleighl35's post where he did this. Someone else on foreum suggested he doesn't get on forum much and for me to maybe contact you since you might have installed the modification yourself and could maybe answer any question I had. I understand you have to add a valve. He said it was a Husco 5002-a1 valve. How do you attach that valve to existing valve bank. Is it with a longer tie rod. If so where do you get that. Also he said the control pedal and parts needed was from a Bh92. Do you know the part numbers I need to order? Is there anything else I might need to know other than what was in his description of the install? Thanks for helping..
