LX vs. Standard L - are FELs and 3 pt capacity that close?

I like my 2501 HST for many reasons and I have a RC for it.

HOWEVER…..I completely “failed” when I bought the RC.

Now in my defense, I had never even sat on a tractor with a RC attached before I bought it, and the advertisement of “can handle trees up to 2 inchs” was foremost in my mind when I decided I “needed one”.

A more Honest/complete description would be something like:

“Can handle the OCCASIONAL 2” tree if you run into them ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE” (But it will sound like the Earth is "cracking in half" and you will probably sh1t your pants)

(I wonder if Land Pride is looking for an “advertising guy” ;) )

So now my “only used once” RC sits safely in my barn, but it does look impressive hanging on the wall.

You simply need more practice. ;)

I suppose that I shouldn't mention that I frequently plow with the rear blade in High range...to get some more lift for throwing snow over the existing banks.

flame away. lol
I've used the Kubota's loader to transport different materials on a variety of terrains. On anything other than a paved surface the irregularities at higher speeds cause more bouncing than I like. My concern with bouncing is the unnecessary stress on the loader frame and connections. It's also a more enjoyable ride without the bouncing.

When plowing snow the tractor spends most of its time in M/Rabbit or H/Turtle. Uphill vs downhill makes a difference too. Sometimes with lighter snow it does fine in H/Rabbit. This is with an 8' front mounted Fisher plow.

I don’t think the noise will change with more HP.

My ancient Mohawk picks its teeth with 2" saplings. My biggest concern when running over something closer to 4" is the shrapnel.
