Has anyone swapped out their stock 4" speakers in a LX2610 / LX2620 cab?

I'm thinking about these 4" Pioneer. I would definitely pay more for better if anyone knows of better durable speakers? I don't want to swap the Jensen it just came with...just the speakers for now.

Swapped the ones out in my LX3310 with these.

The factory stereo is useless when mowing with the cruise control set.

I bought these based on a YouTube video of someone installing them in his cab and he liked them. I haven't installed mine yet.

I have swapped mine out and do not think there was much improvement.

While operating the tractor, in my opinion, you have to have the volume up so high the stereo is about useless.
I will say, with headphones on the stereo is almost good. You have to have the volume up pretty high.

I have just resorted to stereo noise cancelling headphones.

LX4020 - replaced mine with these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EYCTVUE?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1

Not a huge improvement, but does seem a little better to my ears. However, my stereo is garbage. I don't even know if it has a brand name. A nicer headunit would probably make nicer speakers sound better.

Like others have said, depends on your use with other noise such as throttle, mowing implements, etc. Headphones or earbuds would probably be best, but I like to hear my tractor also, so I still opt for cab speakers so I can listen for anything alarming with the tractor.

I just saw another thread where someone added a small sub woofer - that would make a huge difference - just tune your system to send all low frequencies to the sub..
