LX vs. Standard L - are FELs and 3 pt capacity that close?

I've used the Kubota's loader to transport different materials on a variety of terrains. On anything other than a paved surface the irregularities at higher speeds cause more bouncing than I like. My concern with bouncing is the unnecessary stress on the loader frame and connections. It's...

I can sympathize with a rear tractor tire. Just last night I was getting filled with glycol. It all leaked out.

LX vs. Standard L - are FELs and 3 pt capacity that close?

Big 10-4. My frequent advice has been "Buy your fifth tractor first":) My used L4240 came with an L854 and it feels like a pretty good match for it with just the cab and loaded rear tires. This tractor marks the end of the needing anything bigger pursuit for our 3-1//2 acres. In truth that...

    Concrete Anchor Bolts

This is an old Wilton bullet vise. It had tolerated a lot but I whaled it a bit too hard removing a bend in a plate. Here's a "before" picture of it holding a 6' rear blade mounted on my welding table. It's been replaced at least temporarily. The corner mount on the table with the swivel...

    Concrete Anchor Bolts

In which case, the base will end up like the one pictured below. Drilling for anchors where you wanted them carries the same risk as drilling an 1/8" hole in your ROPS:)

    Concrete Anchor Bolts

I'd use drop-in anchors and not worry. https://www.menards.com/main/p-1642874302976862.htm?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic-shopping&utm_content=2327998&utm_campaign=Red+Head

    Deck Belt Brands

I've had excellent results with Kevlar belts from vbelts4less.com and a local (REAL) hardware store. Have had LandPride and Caroni decks. Both last for many seasons of mowing. The only belts that have worn out were the original belts on the first Caroni deck bought in 1991 and one of the...

    Jerky 3-point hitch operation

Kubota did indeed have the same problem - for a number of years. Search OTT or the internet for "jerky 3 point Kubota. One explanation that was going around back then was that Kubota used cheap valves on the non-deluxe models and if you wanted the 3PH to operate smoothly - buy the more more...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Only had a few minutes of seat time but the weather was nice enough to get the Kubota up to the house and replace the headlight bulbs. The left side wasn't working. Assuming it burned out i decided to just get two LED's and replace both. Some disassembly made it easy and thankfully nothing had...

    L3901 - slight implement offset?

I plan to use a blade and maybe something else offset to one side. I'm not worried about doing it via the arms. As long as they don't contact the insides of the tires why worry?

Drainage must be a whole different thing in Florida. Here in PA it's pretty much all open pipes. Sometimes they have bars over the ends to keep kids and logs out:)

    Oil Extractor Recommendation

I remember having a laughing fit when I saw the first Honda car at a Pontiac dealership in Lancaster. All these years later guess which brand isn't sold there. It wasn't that long ago a used car dealer friend was telling me that " those Hyoondays" were going to be a flash in the pan. Today...

    Heavy Vibration

It shouldn't be difficult to find a piece that's way out of balance. First thing I thought about was someone added "wipers" to the impeller blades and on fell off. Id disconnect the components at shesr pins and look at them individually if there's nothing obvious. Bent shaft?
