    M8540 blower resistor alternatives

Thanks --- I was look at the relay you linked to and it says it's a 35A 12V relay. The Kubota I was looking at is a 20A relay. RD451-54382. Is the Panasonic you linked tthe correct replacement? Did it take a while to get those components since I assume they're shipping from Asia?

    M8540 blower resistor alternatives

Success. Swapped #12 aux power relay for #11 high blower relay and she blows! Old #11 had some odd corrosion on one of the blades. Ordering a replacement (not what ever the heck that was I posted above.) This is real deal.

    M8540 blower resistor alternatives

Resurrecting an old thread as my blower is acting up again --- blows normal on 1, 2,3 settings but only lightly on high (4). I know this was discussed above but in looking at the service manual I see this message Functional Check NOTE • The relays described...

Help with putting windshield wiper arm assembly back on?!

So using your diagram and color coding (nice touch) the blue, orange and yellow components were not removes (by me) unless the glass shop did to install the glass. So they are in And post pictures of what your dealing with if you can't get it. Looks like I’m an idiot for taking the diagram...

Help with putting windshield wiper arm assembly back on?!

My problem is that the rubber piece (#10) pushes on the mounting plate that is part of both yellow and blue such that getting the plate onto the yellow stud is not possible. I even separated the yellow arm from the rest of the assembly via the 2 set screws in the image but the issue is with...

Help with putting windshield wiper arm assembly back on?!

In the image you notice 2 studs, one being the actual drive shaft of the wiper motor and the other to anchor the "bracing arm". The problem is that the seals/rubber bushings that go on the driveshaft as well as the fact that the wiper arm only goes on a little way once it engages the teeth of...

Help with putting windshield wiper arm assembly back on?!

Hey all I recently had to replace the front windshield on my 2012 Kubota M8540 (cab of course). Since the wiper motor drive goes through a hole in the glass, I had to remove the wiper arm assembly. Ended up needing a wiper arm puller to get it off. NOW - I can't get that thing back on to save...

    M8540 blower resistor alternatives

Hey all, I've seen a few posts about the cabin fan speed issue that's usually a resistor problem. I'm having that right now - good speed on 1,2,3 but 4 (high) is about like 1 or less. So want to change out the resistor but damn, ~ $100 seems ridiculous. Anyone found another resistor (not...

    Another Kubota AC issue

Anyone who has used an enclosed cab machine (combine/tractor/feller-buncher) knows that running w/o AC in hot weather is nothing like running an open station machine under similar conditions. I also paid good money for this machine an expect it to perform as purchased. I'm not going to cabbage...

    Another Kubota AC issue

I agree. Problem is I need the tractor now to bale ASAP and we're headed for ridiculously hot weather from Sat through at least Thurs ---mid 100's to 100 teens.

    Another Kubota AC issue

The Kubota mechanic tried to look for bubbles in the sight glass on top of what I assume is the drier adjacent to the condenser. Outside in bright sunlight and that tiny sight glass --- I'm not sure what you could see. When they attach a refrigerant tank to your system to add more, how do they...

    Another Kubota AC issue

I just dropped off my old Dodge Ram that's also having AC issues at a decent shop that handles AC stuff. Owner - we can't tell you anything without emptying the system, pulling a vacuum and recharging to appropriate specs. Boom. Big difference. Maybe I need to trailer my tractor to him.

    Removing the FEL

Agree -- my loader has legs that fold down and are held up by a pin. They lock in place by sliding them over and engaging another pin into a hole on a bracket. That's the easy part of unhooking the loader. I will add this caveat "always put your loader on a very level surface when you detach...
