    Thomas T133 skid steer(kubota engine)

Years ago there was a dealer some what close in my area. There were several around. Friend of mine bought one new because they were cheaper. The Kubota engine was no issues but the rest of the machine was a lot to be desired. They were a no frills machine. He had it probably five years until he...

Thread tape, thread sealant, or ????

I will throw out my two cents. When I walk into the big Ag spray parts supply store they have Jomar thread seal and Rector Seal 21 Black laying on the counter for sale. Years ago the counter man I still trust today said Rector seal all the way. That's all I have used for years on sprayers...

    Snowblower for B2320

I blew snow for close to twenty years with a three point blower and its been twenty years since it left the farm. Even when I was young my neck didn't like any part of it. I move all my snow with a snow bucket on my skid steer. We just don't seem to get the big snows like we use to. If I ever...

I have always ran Fill-Rite pumps. I have had excellent service from them one of my pumps has pumped hundreds of thousands gallon of diesel and have never put a vane kit in it. I have friends that have tried the knock of pumps and they just don't hold up. I have always ran a Cim-Tek fuel filter...

30 yr old FEL, cyls leaking, which route to take..?

I have a lot of hydraulic cylinder around this farm. I fix them as needed. When they start dripping oil they come off and go to the hydraulic shop to be repaired. I am lucky to have one of the biggest hydraulic repair shops in our state less than twenty miles from me. I stopped messing with...

    Strange Blade

If I was doing the work I wouldn't weld that bolt to that plate. I have seen were folks had welded the bolt to the plate and the bolt sheared off at a later date. It will probably never break if you weld it but some 20 below cold morning you catch a rock or curb pushing snow is when it would break.

    Happy Block Heater Day!

Back in the 80's and 90's I had a couple semi tractors I installed Espar brand heater {run with diesel fuel} on because the drivers parked the trucks where using a plug in block heater wasn't an option.

    Leaf in the fuel tank!

Remove the fuel from the tank and get the wet, dry shop vacuum out and suck the leaf out. I have pulled a lot of bean stubble and corn leaves out of a lot of combine fuel tanks with out removing the tank. Removing the tank is the last resort. McMXi I didn't see your post until I hit the button.

    Neglected L4760 Grand

In my life time I have bought more than my share of repo equipment from farm tractors, semi's ,cars, pickups and list goes on. The key to things like this tractor is you have to buy them {wholesale}. You have to buy it so if it ends up needing a motor you are still ok and you have to able to do...
