    L3901 - slight implement offset?

Not sure if you can offset a rotary cutter that much to make a difference. Look into an offset flail mower. But you might not have enough machine weight/stability wise.

What implements are you trying to offset?

    SSQA Linear Actuator

Just got mine back together today and timed it. It’s 33 seconds to latch. And the same time to unlatch.

    SSQA Linear Actuator

Didn’t for get just got busy with a project. The way mine is mounted is covered in the first page. Although I was releasing my bucket earlier to time it and it broke the mount. I used aluminum EMT and the bolt just pulled itself through it. Time for a redesign, might go with steel or a different...

    SSQA Linear Actuator

I’ll get some this evening. I will also time it for reference. Yes it’s attached to both. When unlocking it will unlatch the one with the least resistance first then the other.

    Building a fueling station.

Definitely post some pictures. All of my pumps are mounted directly to the fuel tank, with a filter and hose.

    SSQA Linear Actuator

I agree with this. But I’m also seeing how difficult things get with my dad getting older. Currently shoulder trouble. With the SSQA levers as an example it hurts him too much to pull the levers up to unlatch, and getting on and off the tractor itself multiple times. I added mine because my...

    SSQA Linear Actuator

Mine is fixed just like the video above. You can get an actuator that moves faster but it’s not too bad. Mine is a 8” stroke that has internal limits and just so happens thats the stroke needed for my SSQA handles. I have it wired to a momentary DPDT switch. I can get some pictures of mine this...

    Building a fueling station.

All of mine have a nozzle holder. So I cover the nozzle with a shop rag and put it in the holder. My dad used a cap on his, until one day he filled the tractor and forgot about the cap. Had to fish it out of the fuel tank.

Yes there will still be fuel in the hose. Thats how every gas station and every transfer tank with an electric pump is set up. I currently have four transfer tanks with pumps and none leak.

    Building a fueling station.

What’s the purpose of draining the hose if you have a nozzle on the end? Either regular or auto shut off nozzle. An auto shut off nozzle might not with a hand pump due to the low flow compared to an electric pump. If I fill mine really slow it will not auto shut off.

    SSQA Linear Actuator

I added one to my M last year. It could be faster but it works great.

We have a GPI 8GPM on a smaller 36? Gallon tank. Got it on sale at north tool I believe. How much equipment are you filling? Just a BX25? Don’t forget diesel foams, so the faster it’s pumped into the tank the more it foams up.

    dewalt air compressors

I will add my 30 gallon has an oil compressor. And a standard footprint if the compressor and/or motor fails it can be replaced. I’m glad I went with a 110v unit over a 220v if I have to move it around. My unit is on a dolly setup. I mainly use mine for truck and trailer tires and so far it’s...

    dewalt air compressors

When I was looking for mine last year I found several different brands that all had similar specs and looked identical, just different paint colors. So a like new used Dewalt was found on marketplace for several hundred less than new. Upgraded to a 50ft retractable hose reel at the same time.

    dewalt air compressors

AC compressors? Or battery powered compressors? I have a 30 gal 120v Dewalt compressor, I’ve been satisfied with it. But I wouldn’t say it’s top shelf in the air compressor world.

Any well known transfer pump brand will be good. GPI, fill rite and others.

    Welder Advice

Definitely recommend getting a 220v machine. My mig is 110v or 220v but I can’t remember if I have used it on 110v. For a beginner I would recommend a mig machine with shielding gas. And/or a stick machine such as a tombstone. Also add in the budget for grinders, torches and consumables for each.
