    Is there supposed to be a gasket between the muffler and the exhaust connection on a B8200? There’s a noticeable difference in diameter between the two fittings.

    why does my tractor have a dynamo instead of an alternator? what's the difference and why do you think the engineers made that choice?

    voltage regulator

    just put a new voltage regulator in and was wondering what kind of voltage readings you guys get. i think the old one was causing my battery to leak out from over charging. right now, i'm getting about 12 at idle and up to 14 when i rev the engine up.

    i borrowed a steering wheel puller for obvious reasons, but i'm not sure if i don't know how to use it or there are different types and this isn't what i need. i have a pretty good idea of what should be happening but i don't see how this one does that.

    Oil reads high on stick

    i have the b8200; it's about 30 years old and i've had it since 2014. the oil capacity is 4.1 qts, but it always shows full on the stick at about 3.5 qts. the stick appears to be the right one, ie, the original one. it doesn't appear to be defective or too long or any thing else weird. should i...
